Utilization Review Nurse – Discharge Planning

Five 8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 40 hours/week guaranteed.

Assignment Details

Temp-to-Perm preferred; no long-term contract.

Requirements

• Active California nursing license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Proof of negative TB screen within the past 12 months
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Utilization Management

Responsibilities

• Perform utilization review activities for patient admissions and ongoing care
• Coordinate discharge planning processes to ensure timely and efficient patient transitions
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
• Monitor compliance with utilization management protocols
• Document patient status and care recommendations accurately
