Director of RCM Services

The Director of RCM Services is a hands-on, strategic leader responsible for overseeing Nymbl's revenue cycle management service line and ensuring high-quality, profitable delivery for its provider customers. Reporting to the CTO, this player-coach role owns the full revenue cycle across Medicare, Medicaid, VA, and commercial payers, while driving improvements in operational performance, automation, and team structure.

What You'll Do

• Own the full revenue cycle for the existing book of business, from patient eligibility through final payment
• Own payer performance across Medicare, multi-state Medicaid, Veterans Affairs, and commercial plans, including the coverage and fee schedule variation across states and contracts
• Improve the margin of the service line over time through automation, operational efficiency, and how the team is structured, including extending Nymbl's existing offshore model into RCM where it makes sense
• Find where automation can remove manual work, quantify the margin impact, and partner with Product and Engineering to scope and ship it, serving as the resident RCM expert inside the technology organization
• Partner with Sales to define, package, and price the RCM service offerings so that what is sold can be delivered profitably
• Lead, develop, and retain the team, with expectations tied to the service line's core KPIs — days in A/R, clean claim rate, denial rate, net collection rate, and cost-to-collect — and report results to the CTO
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and applicable federal, state, and payer regulations, and maintain audit readiness

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive revenue cycle management experience, including 3+ years directly leading and developing teams
• Hands-on billing experience in O&P or CRT — L-code and HCPCS selection, modifiers, prior authorization, and detailed written order documentation standards
• Deep working knowledge of the payers common to O&P and CRT — Medicare, multi-state Medicaid, Veterans Affairs, and commercial plans — including state-specific program variation
• Experience evaluating, standing up, or managing offshore or outsourced delivery capacity, including quality and productivity standards
• Proven record of restructuring a revenue cycle operation to improve cost-to-collect
• Experience partnering with product or technology teams to define and implement process automation — comfortable writing requirements and validating what gets built
• Strong analytical skills; fluent with reporting tools and BI dashboards to diagnose root cause rather than describe symptoms

Preferred

• Experience in a tech-enabled services or software organization where revenue cycle work and product development sit close together
• Exposure to RPA, workflow automation, or applied AI tooling in a revenue cycle context
