Private Bank - Alternative Investment Specialist - Vice President

About Global Alternative Investment Solutions Global Alternative Investment Solutions is responsible for selecting and monitoring alternative asset managers for the Global Private Bank, advising clients on alternative investment allocations. The team engages with asset managers, internal investment specialists, and clients across hedge funds, private equity, private credit, and real asset funds, with over $200 billion of client capital invested in alternatives. Responsibilities Work closely with U.S. Investment Advisors, Bankers, and clients on new product launches and ongoing alternative investment opportunities. Represent and articulate the Global Alternative Investment Solutions team's views at key internal and external meetings. Analyze client multi‑asset class portfolios and provide alternative investment product and implementation advice in conjunction with Advisors. Articulate the manager selection process and how the alternative platform aligns with the Global Private Bank strategy and market context. Actively participate in Global Alternative Investment Solutions meetings, demonstrating leadership. Focus on teamwork, fostering and mentoring junior talent within the group. Travel, sometimes accompanied by Fund managers, to regional offices in the Central and West region for meetings and events. Key Attributes Specific knowledge of, and hands‑on product experience in, alternative investments, including hedge funds, private equity, private credit, and real estate. Proven experience in investment management sales; experience within a capital markets environment is preferred. Ability to convey knowledge and credibility in front of managers, clients, and investors. 6+ years of experience in investment sales, alternative investment due diligence, alternative product investor relations, and alternatives product specialist functions. Experience in both private investments and hedge funds is preferred. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. FINRA General Securities Representative Exam (Series 7) and Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination (Series 63) required (may take exams after commencement of employment). About The Team J.P.
