Sheet Metal Foreman

Responsible for all aspects of HVAC-Sheet Metal functions including performing and coordinating the installation, repair and service of HVAC-Sheet Metal systems on a commercial job site. Pay Range- 30.00 to 40.00 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs various field and shop tasks associated with the HVAC sheet metal trade.
• Installs, renovates, and repairs commercial/industrial HVAC air distribution systems
• Organizes material and manpower needs for jobs/projects
• Understands correct application of field and shop equipment to job completion.
• Layout duct work (as well as fittings and specialty items) to accommodate job specifications.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• At least 5+ years of practical HVAC sheet metal fabrication experience in a shop and/or field setting.
• Considerable knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade and general construction environment.
• Skill in the care and use of tools and equipment used in the sheet metal trade.
• Ability to train apprentices.
• Physical activities include standing, balancing, climbing stairs and ladders, walking and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. are required.
