Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), Pediatric Outpatient Apply locations West Cincy Kids, Southern Columbus Time type Full time Posted on Posted 3 Days Ago Job requisition id R-0000104699 Job Address: 707 E Jenkins Street, Columbus, OH 43207 Position Summary: Responsible for supporting the therapeutic milieu and/or providing individual CPST services under the direction of a Team Lead and Clinical Supervisor. Ensures that the schedule/program is consistently delivered, clients are supervised, safety is maintained, and clients and families are treated with respect and dignity. Education: High school diploma or degree from an accredited college. A combination of education and relevant work experience may be required. Experience: Previous experience in a mental health or education setting with young children, especially those with mental health or behavioral difficulties. Additional Requirements: CPR certification and Handle With Care (HWC) within 30 days of employment. Completion of additional mental health training within 30 days of employment. Must be at least 18 years old. May require flexible hours and overtime. Job Responsibilities: Complete daily assignments. Provide individual CPST services to assigned caseload. Assist therapists and providers with program delivery. Complete daily clinical documentation. Gather information for quality and performance measures. Schedule treatment team and transition/discharge meetings. Collaborate with parents/guardians and treatment team members. Complete all required educational and training courses. Educational/Training topics include Milieu Management & Approach, Therapeutic Communication, and Early Childhood Mental Health.
