We are seeking a Replacement Sales Representative for the Columbia, MO showroom (serving Columbia, Jefferson City, Mexico, Pierpoint, Shaw and Ashland areas) who will be responsible for selling in‑home Pella products to homeowners. The Representative will provide design options, product selection and installation expertise to the customer, as well as value‑driven solutions delivering a best‑in‑class customer experience. About Your Opportunity: This position is responsible for the sales of in‑home residential window and door replacement. This involves a 10‑step in‑home selling process; product demonstrations, project evaluation and measuring, project estimating, closing the sale, and following the job through the system. In addition, asking for reviews and referrals assists in your continued success in the role. In your role, you'll be responsible for managing all practices and procedures designed to increase sales, enhance profitability, and develop very satisfied customers. While branding yourself and Pella in the marketplace, you'll be expected to generate repeat customers, referral customers, and new customers independent of Pella’s advertising and marketing efforts. Keys to success include being able to effectively handle and resolve customer objections and being able to close sales in the home. You’ll receive high‑quality inbound leads—and you’ll be expected to supplement them through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, and follow‑up strategies to maintain a strong personal pipeline. Principal Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but not limited to: Responsible for all field activity relating to customer relations, product sales, collections and customer satisfaction for the replacement segment. Pursues leads, gives product demonstrations both in the home and at the Showroom, discusses product options with the customer and takes on‑site measurements. Responsible for creating self‑generated leads to supplement customer base. Ensure quotes and orders are accurate and follow company sales processes. Follows up with prospects to inform them of business changes such as product offering, pricing, or assembly options in a timely manner. Must be computer literate and able to use electronic software (PQM, MSOffice, Salesforce, etc.) to track, quote, sell and order products. Follows up with all customers to ensure that the project meets or exceeds the customers' expectations. Coordinates and communicates with the Project Coordinator to ensure accurate understanding of and timely resolution to customer issues. Participates in various departmental and interdepartmental meetings and/or quarterly training. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must have dependable transportation. You must be prepared to travel as required by the job. Reliable and dependable with the ability to work autonomously. Own the full sales cycle with autonomy. Take initiative to identify and pursue new opportunities. Consistently push to exceed targets. Excellent communication skills, a high standard of ethics, strong math aptitude and strong organizational skills. Compensation: We offer a base salary for training pay in addition to earning commissions and bonus. This is a W2 position that offers commission on gross sales, plus monthly bonus and draw (if needed) with competitive commission rates designed to maximize your earnings for successful sales. There is no limit to how much you can earn. Pella offers a full benefit package including employee paid medical, life insurance and short‑term disability and 401k match. Schedule: Monday to Friday Appointments start at 10am, 2pm and 6pm (Monday thru Thursday), Friday 10am & 2pm
