Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience License: Active Iowa or compact nursing license Certifications: Active BLS Active ACLS Active NIHSS Certification Must-Have: Epic experience Prior travel work experience Floating required Description: As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. The types of patients you will encounter include cardiac, stroke, and general medical cases. Patient ratios are typically 1:5 or 1:6 during night shifts. Floating may be required within the same discipline across local campuses. Supervisory reference form must be completed within the last two years. A skills checklist specific to the listed discipline is required.
