Job Description

• Create Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess the unique needs of patients and design individualized treatment strategies aimed at helping them reach their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive processes, and day-to-day living tasks
• Engage with Interdisciplinary Teams: Collaborate effectively with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver holistic patient care
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families in therapeutic approaches to ensure continued progress at home
• Track and Evaluate Patient Progress: Monitor therapeutic outcomes and adjust treatment plans to keep patients on an upward trajectory

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized educational program
• Ongoing education and additional certifications are encouraged and embraced

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) credential is required
