Job Title: Rad Tech-Cath


Job Description:

As part of a multidisciplinary team, the Rad Tech-Cath is responsible for the operation of the heart catheterization laboratory suite. This role involves operating diagnostic fluoroscopy and various cardiac equipment, monitoring patient vitals, performing routine calculations, circulating, and assisting physicians during procedures upon request. The technician prepares the procedure rooms, equipment, and patients, and acts as a liaison to the hospital Radiation Safety Officer (RSO). The position requires proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications, effective communication skills, and the ability to work under stress in a highly dynamic environment. The Rad Tech-Cath must adhere to all federal, state, and local radiation safety regulations and demonstrate flexibility to work a 24/7 schedule, including weekends and holidays.


Experience Required:

• 2 years of experience in Rad Tech/Cath Lab

Certifications Required:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) in the state of practice and registration from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• RCIS or RCES certification preferred

Physical and Environmental Demands:

• Medium work requiring exertion of 20-50 pounds occasionally and 10-25 pounds frequently
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
• Exposure to blood, body fluids, tissue, and communicable diseases
• Occupational risk associated with hazardous medications and waste

Job Shift: Day Shift 8 Hour
Start Date: 05/13/2026
Hourly Pay Rate: $64.50
