RN Telemetry

Schedule: Shift: 7p-7a, Every Other Weekend

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 1 week
• Guaranteed Hours: 12 hours

Requirements:

• Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• BLS, ACLS, & NIHSS certifications
• Must have Advanced Telemetry experience (will need to pass Advanced Dysrhythmia exam during onboarding)
• Up-to-date resume that includes 2+ years of experience in an acute care setting (specialty) and documents travel experience
• Skills Checklist matching specialty
• EMR Experience Preferred: Cerner (not required)
• Experience with Cardizem and Insulin Drips (insulin for hyperglycemia, not DKA)
• Familiarity with Phenobarbital on Tele

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring timely interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Compliance / Notes:

• RTO (Request Time Off) must be included at the time of submission.
• Traveler may be requested to float as needed.
