The credentialing process is estimated at 45 days for incoming locum tenens clinicians. The facility utilizes EPIC EMR for clinical documentation and patient care coordination. About the Facility Location Las Cruces offers a range of regional attractions suited to varied interests. Notable destinations include the New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum, the Las Cruces Museum of Art, and the Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument, which provides opportunities for hiking and outdoor exploration. The surrounding area also features access to White Sands and the Gila area, known for its trails and recreational activities. About the Clinician's Workday The orthopedic surgeon will provide one week per month of clinic and call coverage across clinic, operating room, and emergency room settings. Scheduled clinical hours run Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with OR coverage designated on Mondays and Wednesdays to support surgical needs. The clinician will manage 3-5 consults per day, encompassing both surgical and phone-based consultations. Clinical documentation is maintained using EPIC EMR, and call coverage is required as part of this assignment.
