Right Now Plumbing & Heating is looking for an aggressive, self-motivated, highly skilled residential HVAC sales professional who knows how to build relationships, earn customers' trust, overcome objections, and close deals. We want someone who takes complete ownership of the sales process, from the initial customer appointment to the final signed agreement and successful handoff to our installation team. This is an opportunity for an experienced sales professional who wants more than just another sales job. We are looking for someone with strong leadership abilities and the ambition to eventually build, train, and lead a high-performing HVAC sales team. The right candidate must be confident, professional, technically knowledgeable, and motivated by performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Meet with residential customers to evaluate HVAC replacement, upgrade, and installation opportunities. Develop strong customer relationships and confidently present solutions. Sell complete residential heating and cooling systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, and indoor air quality products. Identify and sell additional light plumbing opportunities when appropriate. Prepare professional estimates, present financing options when available, and close sales. Handle pricing objections, competitive bids, and customer concerns with confidence. Follow up consistently with every opportunity until a final decision is made. Maintain strong closing percentages, revenue production, and customer satisfaction. Job Layout & Project Development Take full ownership of each sales opportunity from start to finish. Evaluate existing HVAC equipment, ductwork, system configurations, and customer needs. Develop accurate installation scopes, equipment recommendations, job layouts, and material requirements. Understand residential heating and cooling load calculations and proper equipment sizing. Recognize installation challenges involving ductwork, gas piping, electrical requirements, venting, and equipment placement. Coordinate with our installation and technical teams to ensure accurate project planning. Deliver complete, organized job information to installation crews. Maintain communication throughout the installation process to ensure the customer receives what was promised. Leadership & Team Development Demonstrate strong personal leadership, accountability, and professionalism. Help establish effective sales processes, performance standards, and closing strategies. Mentor and develop additional sales professionals as the department grows. Lead by example through personal sales performance and customer service. Work directly with company ownership to develop a scalable residential sales department. Have the ability and ambition to transition into a sales leadership position as performance and company growth justify expansion.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Proven experience in residential HVAC sales, preferably in-home replacement and installation sales. A demonstrated history of closing deals and producing significant sales revenue. Strong knowledge of residential HVAC equipment, system design, installation requirements, and job layout. Excellent communication, negotiation, and objection-handling skills. Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently without constant supervision. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple leads, estimates, follow-ups, and active projects. Professional appearance and a customer-first attitude. Strong leadership potential and a desire to grow with the company. Familiarity with Housecall Pro or similar field service management software is a plus. Willingness to be held accountable for measurable sales performance.
