Surgery - General Physician

As our General Surgeon , you will be a pivotal clinician delivering the highest quality patient care and surgical expertise within our Colorado healthcare system. This role involves comprehensive surgical services, both in the operating room and ambulatory clinic settings, while contributing to clinical quality improvement initiatives and community benefit programs, ensuring access to top-tier surgical care for our patients.

Every day you will provide expert ambulatory care, perform essential surgical procedures, and meticulously manage medical records to current policy standards. You will actively comply with all managed care programs, Medicare, Medicaid, and federal/state reimbursement plans, including our ethical and religious directives. Furthermore, you will lead and participate in various activities focused on promoting clinical excellence and quality improvement within surgical services, engage in medical staff committees, and, when assigned, provide crucial on-call coverage to support our community's urgent needs.

To be successful in this role, you will be a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Surgeon with an active Colorado medical license (or eligibility to obtain one), demonstrating a commitment to continuously developing personal and professional competence through ongoing medical education and maintaining applicable board certification. Required

• Must have successfully completed a residency or fellowship commensurate with area of specialty.
• Obtain and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency ("DEA") registration;
• Be board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty, by a board acceptable to Hospital;
• Obtain Medical Staff Privileges within the Health system, at sponsoring institution
• Doctorate MD or DO required
• DR-Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in applicable state required
