About the Position

Job Opportunity – Telemetry Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Schedule: Rotating schedule with every other weekend; 12-hour shifts; patient ratio 1:4-5; 36-bed telemetry unit with average daily census of 35 patients

Highlights:

• Telemetry unit specializing in cardiac and medical patients including CHF, MI/chest pain (pre- and post-cath), dysrhythmias (pre- and post-device implants), and vascular conditions
• Epic EMR required; experience with Pyxis and SBAR communication protocols
• Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration) including milrinone, dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Lidocaine, Bumex, and Heparin
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience
• Up to 7 days of requested time off available (restrictions apply during orientation and major holidays)

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 1:4-5 patient ratios
• Demonstrated competency in cardiac telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, central line care, BiPAP/CPAP management, high flow nasal cannula, ABG interpretation, IV insulin protocols, and post-cardiac procedure care
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Full compliance documentation due Tuesday prior to start date; core items and labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
