About the Role:

The Loader Operator plays a critical role in the construction and utilities operations sector by efficiently operating heavy machinery to load, move, and transport materials on job sites. This position ensures that materials such as soil, gravel, debris, and construction supplies are handled safely and accurately to support ongoing construction projects. The Loader Operator collaborates closely with site supervisors and other equipment operators to maintain workflow continuity and meet project deadlines. Attention to safety protocols and equipment maintenance is paramount to prevent accidents and minimize downtime. Ultimately, the Loader Operator contributes to the successful completion of construction projects by providing reliable and skilled operation of loader equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid operator certification or license for heavy machinery operation.
• Minimum of 2 years experience operating loaders or similar heavy equipment in construction or utilities environments.
• Basic understanding of construction site safety standards and protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret site plans and instructions.
• Physical capability to perform manual labor and operate machinery for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working specifically within utilities operations in the construction industry.
• Additional certifications related to heavy equipment operation or safety training (e.g., OSHA).
• Familiarity with routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

• Operate loader machinery to load and transport materials across construction and utility sites.
