The Logistics Coordinator manages inventory, warehouse operations, freight movement, customs compliance, and fulfillment activities across North America. This role supports direct-to-consumer, Amazon, retail, and wholesale channels, ensuring that products move efficiently through third-party warehouses and carriers while maintaining regulatory compliance and accurate inventory. The position requires close collaboration with warehouses, carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams to drive reliable, scalable supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day logistics and supply chain operations across North America for DTC, Amazon, retail, and wholesale channels.

• Manage third-party logistics (3PL) warehouses, including inbound and outbound shipments, storage, and fulfillment processes.

• Maintain accurate inventory levels, monitor stock movements, and perform regular reconciliation to ensure inventory integrity.

• Coordinate import and export logistics, including freight bookings, documentation, and customs clearance activities.

• Ensure customs and regulatory compliance, including CPSC eFiling and customs reporting, in partnership with customs brokers.

• Manage Amazon FBA operations, including inbound shipments, inventory management, and performance metrics.

• Use ACE Portal and ERP systems such as NetSuite (or similar platforms) to manage data, reporting, and compliance records.

• Support kitting and work order management to meet specific customer, retail, and promotional requirements.

• Handle reverse logistics processes, including returns, refurbishments, and disposition of goods.

• Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process workflows for logistics and fulfillment.

• Analyze logistics data to produce reports, identify trends, and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline logistics workflows, improve data quality, and reduce manual tasks.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and global teams to align logistics activities with sales, operations, and customer service needs.

• Coordinate with carriers, warehouses, and customs brokers to resolve issues, minimize delays, and maintain service levels.

• Manage retailer portal activities and requirements for platforms such as Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Retail Link, Target, and Supplier One.

• Support big-box retail logistics and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to routing guides and vendor standards.

• Travel to remote warehouses as needed to oversee operations, conduct audits, and support process improvements.

• Communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, escalating risks and providing timely updates on inventory, shipments, and fulfillment.

• Contribute to a fast-paced, highly cross-functional supply chain environment by proactively identifying and addressing operational challenges.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of experience in logistics, freight management, or supply chain operations.

• 3+ years of experience managing 3PL warehouses and fulfillment operations.

• Strong inventory management and stock control experience, including accuracy and reconciliation.

• Experience with import/export logistics, customs processes, and freight coordination.

• Deep knowledge of ACE Portal and NetSuite or comparable ERP systems.

• Hands-on experience with Amazon FBA operations and related logistics workflows.

• Proficiency in process improvement, reporting, and data analysis to drive operational efficiency.

• Experience using AI tools and automation to optimize logistics and data workflows.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

• Proven problem-solving abilities in a dynamic, fast-paced supply chain environment.

• Stakeholder management skills, including coordination with warehouses, carriers, customs brokers, and cross-functional teams.

• Experience with remote warehouse and fulfillment management.

• Expertise in inventory accuracy and reconciliation across multiple locations.

• SOP development and process documentation experience.

• Regulatory compliance knowledge related to CPSC eFiling and customs reporting.

• Kitting and work order management experience.

• Reverse logistics experience, including handling returns and related processes.

• Ability to work effectively with global teams across regions.

• Willingness to travel to warehouses as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and multi-channel fulfillment.

• Experience with retailer portals such as Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Retail Link, Target, and Supplier One.

• Big-box retail experience, including adherence to routing guides and vendor requirements, is preferred.

• Shopify back-office knowledge is a plus.

• Familiarity with data entry and maintaining accurate records within ERP and logistics systems.

• Comfort working in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional supply chain and logistics environment.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid role based in Brooklyn, NY, with periodic in-office attendance combined with remote work flexibility. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $39.00/hr.
