Key Responsibilities\nAs a licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Performing comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health concerns, utilizing standardized tools and interviews to inform your treatment plans. \n
- Providing individual therapy sessions tailored to each client's unique circumstances using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care. \n
- Establishing collaborative therapeutic goals with clients and regularly evaluating their progress, ensuring the adaptations of treatment approaches as needed. \n
- Offering teletherapy options to accommodate clients with accessibility challenges or preferences for virtual sessions, ensuring that mental health support is available to all. \n
- Documenting client interactions and treatment plans meticulously in our electronic health record (EHR) system, maintaining compliance with ethical and regulatory standards. \n
- Engaging in regular supervision and peer consultation meetings, fostering a culture of feedback and continuous improvement in therapeutic practices. \n
Your work will primarily involve adults and adolescents experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. By providing compassionate, culturally sensitive care, you will empower clients to create positive changes in their lives and navigate through their personal challenges effectively.
Qualifications\nTo be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

- A current and valid mental health license in the state of Arizona, specifically as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). \n
- A Master's degree or a doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. \n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that promote the development of trusting therapeutic relationships with clients. \n
- Empathy and compassion to approach clients’ experiences without judgment, fostering a safe and supportive therapeutic space. \n
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities that enable effective management of caseloads and administrative tasks. \n
Although not mandatory, the ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse populations and knowledge of various therapeutic modalities. Familiarity with teletherapy practices and an understanding of mental health insurance processes will also be advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits\nSerenity Path Healthcare offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, which is commensurate with your professional experience and caseload.
