Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in inpatient or outpatient environments and craft personalized treatment plans
• Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, discharge plans, and exercises to continue at home
• Meticulously document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress per facility protocols and regulatory guidelines
• Participate in multi-disciplinary care team rounds and conferences to foster coordinated care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is highly preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (such as neurological or geriatric) are advantageous, but not mandatory

Skills

• Previous clinical experience is strongly preferred
