JOB TITLE Accountant REPORTS TO Sr. Accounting Manager JOB TYPE Full Time Employee TEAM Accounting & Finance LOCATION Buena Park, CA SUMMARY Responsible for managing billing, recording revenue, reconciling customer accounts, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding receivables. This role supports financial accuracy, month-end close activities, and customer communication to maintain healthy cash flow for the organization. JOB DUTIES include but are not limited to the following: Prepare and issue customer invoices, credit memos, and billing adjustments. Process daily sales and cash receipts while investigating and resolving discrepancies between recorded and actual amounts. Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts to reduce outstanding balances. Assist bank account reconciliations and generate a reconciliation report Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and unapplied cash. Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and unapplied cash. Work closely with the operations team and store managers to ensure timely account resolution. Generate and analyze AR Aging Reports to monitor overdue invoices and prioritize collection efforts. Assist preparation of audits and reports Perform other accounting related tasks Monitor and manage prepaid card inventory and dispatch per order status QUALIFICATIONS: Qualifications for an accountant include having an extensive knowledge of accounting principles and procedures; having strong accounts payable skills; being able to handle multiple projects in a given time, including during deadline periods; being a self-starter as well as a team player.
