Position Overview for the Mainframe DBA: Administer and maintain IBM Db2 for z/OS databases in a mainframe environment Monitor database health, availability, and performance to ensure reliable daily operations Execute database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures supporting high availability needs Analyze workloads to tune performance, resolve bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies Collaborate on deployments, upgrades, documentation, and ongoing operational best practices Requirements for the Mainframe DBA: 5+ years of IBM Db2 for z/OS administration experience in a mainframe environment Strong knowledge of z/OS operating system fundamentals Hands-on experience with database backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies Proven ability to monitor, tune, and optimize Db2 performance through workload analysis and troubleshooting Experience with database security administration, user access management, and production support/incident resolution What's in it for you?
