MRI Technologist

Role Overview: This position involves operating MRI and radiology scanners to acquire diagnostic images for patient assessment and treatment. Key Responsibilities Prepare, position patients, and select technical parameters for imaging procedures. Perform patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education related to exams. Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images, and ensure high-quality submission to PACS. Administer contrast media or medications within scope and regulations. Maintain equipment functionality and report malfunctions. Assist in keeping the department clean and organized. Follow safety protocols and perform other assigned duties. Qualifications & Skills Completion of a Radiology or MRI program. Certification: ARRT-R or ARMRIT/MR within 12 months of hire. No prior experience required. Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive movements. Knowledge of safety procedures and equipment operation. Additional Requirements BLS certification and valid radiologic technologist credentials.
