Registered Nurse OB Case ManagerThe Ambulatory Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care in an outpatient clinic setting, supporting individuals and families across the continuum of care. This role utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, administer medications and treatments, perform clinical procedures, and provide patient education and care coordination in collaboration with providers and interdisciplinary teams.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.Implement and evaluate nursing interventions and patient responses.Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately per provider orders and policy.Recognize changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions or escalation of care.Provide patient and family education related to care, medications, and discharge needs.Deliver culturally responsive, patient-centered care.Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in the electronic health record.Advocate for patient care and assist patients in navigating the healthcare system.Participate in quality and performance improvement activities.Provide appropriate guidance and delegation to ancillary staff.QualificationsCurrent full, unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Alaska or other U.S. state required.Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor's degree preferred.Basic Life Support certification.Minimum of 2 years of experience in OB Case Management required.Case Management certification preferred.Working ConditionsThis position requires floating to other departments or assignments as needed and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. It also involves participating in in-services and educational programs, completing all mandatory training, and attending staff meetings.Additional InformationHousing and transportation arrangements are the responsibility of the agency. The start date will be no less than five weeks after processing of required fingerprint cards.
