We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dedicated clinical team at Canyon Creek Family & Implant Dentistry. Whether you prefer full-time or part-time hours, our flexible schedule allows you to balance professional growth with personal life. In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, educate patients, and collaborate closely with the dental team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes. Dental hygienist

Perform dental hygiene procedures including prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and oral cancer screening

Conduct thorough patient screenings and review medical and dental histories

Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventative care, and disease management

Utilize advanced dental technology such as Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and digital X-rays

Document all patient care activities accurately within electronic medical record (EMR) systems

Collaborate with dentists and the clinical team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans

Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and infection control protocols

Participate in continuing education and hygiene mentorship programs to enhance clinical skills

Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment focused on patient-centered care

full-time $51 - $70 per hour

$5,000 sign-on bonus (DOE)

Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Friday, Saturday, Sunday – Closed

• Basic life support
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Experienced Dental Hygienist (3+ years)
• Licensed dental hygienist

Current Washington State Dental Hygienist license

Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

CPR Certification

Minimum 11 years of professional experience preferred (mid-level) but new graduates with strong clinical skills are welcome to apply

Proficient knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and documentation review

Ability to work independently with clinical autonomy while collaborating effectively with the team

• X-ray / Radiography Certification

Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital X-rays, and EMR systems

Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Desire to provide preventative care and comprehensive maintenance of patients’ dental health

Physical Requirements

Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation

Prolonged periods of sitting and standing during patient care

Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds as needed

Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions throughout the year

Completion of tuberculosis (TB) test prior to employment (standard dental office requirement except in FL & TN)
