A&P Mechanic - Smyrna, TN Job Description Inspect and examine aircraft components. Read and utilize blueprints, maintenance manuals. Perform routine maintenance operations, including replacement of power plant and aircraft components. Perform inspections to check for cracks, oil leaks, burned areas, foreign object damage, warping, distortions, missing segments, and wear. Promote safety within the workplace by monitoring tasks against safety manual guidelines and communicating with mechanics and supervisors about safety concerns. Order supplies, equipment, materials, and parts for repairs and general maintenance. Keep detailed records of inspections performed, repairs finished, maintenance procedures, and ordered parts. Requirements Must have 3+ years of experience as an aviation mechanic. Benefits Travel Pay: $0.63 per mile up to $200.00. Monthly longevity bonus: $100.00.
