Entry Level Water/Wastewater Engineer

Jacobs is currently seeking a soon-to-be or recently graduated Civil or Environmental Engineer to join our team. Your immediate work will focus on solutions for our water and wastewater projects and Clients. You will work on a variety of exciting projects that apply your critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

With Jacobs, you’ll work on green infrastructure, stormwater collection/conveyance, water and wastewater projects to provide site/civil, process mechanical and hydraulic design solutions. You should be self-motivated with a long-term desire to grow personally as well as professionally within the Northeast. Each project will provide career opportunities while delivering transformative projects for our clients.

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Chemical or Environmental Engineering

Coursework with concentration in civil, environmental and/or construction

Conceptual knowledge of process mechanical designs, drinking and wastewater unit processes and technologies

Willingness to learn Jacobs’ proprietary software tools

Ideally, You’ll Also Have: 

• Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and GIS

• Involvement in professional society organizations, community organization or other leadership roles with volunteer organizations
