Warehouse PositionAssist with inspections of material and goods received for compliance to specificationsMove items to appropriate areasExecute and complete cycle countsReview and reconcile cycle count discrepanciesEnsure compliance with establish internal control proceduresMaintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly, and safe mannerResponsible for operating the warehouse machinery in a safe manner and reporting any equipment maintenance or problems to your immediate supervisorPerform other work-related tasks as assignedComply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and proceduresHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)2 -3 year(s) related experience and/or technical training or equivalent combination of education and experience3 years of experience in inventory control, shipping/receiving, standing forklift operation, pulling order and sales ordersExperience with an ERP systemAbility to operate various styles of forklifts to meet production needs along with meeting all safety requirementsAbility to demonstrate precise inventory control, good time management skills, and strong multitasking capabilitiesDemonstrated knowledge on how to operate within a general shop, material handling and safety focused warehouse that is essential to maintaining a high-volume manufacturing environmentData entryWhile performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. The employee is often required to stand, walk, and maneuver about shop floor. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
