Program Address: 13 Hebdeen St Johnston RI 02919 Position Description Position Title: Infant Teacher- $18.50 per hour Schedule: Full-Time between the hours of 6:30 am to 5:30 pm. Provide a nurturing, loving, & safe environment for children Have knowledge of RIELDS or willingness to be trained Have a minimum of 12 credits in early childhood CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to complete. Involved in curriculum planning for hands-on activities or willingness to learn Be positive, energetic & able to work with others as a team Have strong written and oral communication skills Bilingual Individuals (English/ Spanish or Italian) is a PLUS +++ Benefits 401(k) Employee discount Paid time off Qualifications Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field Required Documentation Background Clearance: Evidence of a cleared RI DHS Comprehensive Background Check (including fingerprinting and CANTS check). Education Verification: Official college transcripts and copies of diplomas Medical Clearance: Immunization record per RIDOH regulations. Professional Registry: Active enrollment (or willingness to enroll) in the RI workforce registry (RISES). CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to complete within 90 days of employment.
