What You’ll Do
• Apply powder coat and liquid paint finishes to doors, gates, fences, and rails
• Operate and maintain powder coating guns, spray equipment, and curing ovens
• Inspect finished pieces for coverage, adhesion, mil thickness, and appearance, and touch up or recoat where needed
• Handle and stage large, heavy pieces carefully to prevent damage
• Keep the paint booth and coating area clean, organized, and safe
• Work with fabrication and shipping staff to meet production schedules
• Track materials and report when supplies are running low
What We’re Looking For
• 3+ years of hands-on powder coating and/or industrial painting experience, preferably on metal fabrication
• Strong knowledge of surface preparation, pretreatment, and curing processes
• Ability to read work orders and finish specifications
• Strong attention to detail and high quality standards
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods
• Familiarity with PPE, respirators, and shop safety practices
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work with a team
• Experience with custom or decorative finishes is a plus
