What You'll Do
- Provide exceptional nursing care in the emergency department, assessing patient needs and implementing appropriate interventions
- Utilize the nursing process for ongoing patient evaluation and care planning
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Delegating and managing resources efficiently to optimize patient outcomes
- Document care activities accurately and in compliance with hospital policies
- Adapt care strategies to meet the diverse needs of the emergency department patient population
- Embrace institutional standards to ensure patient safety, privacy, and high-quality care
What You Need
- Required: Valid RN license in Louisiana, BLS, CPI, ACLS, PALS certifications
- Preferred: 2+ years of ER nursing experience, certification in clinical specialty areas
- Key Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and judgment skills; proficiency in computers and healthcare software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in high-pressure environments
