TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Lufkin, Texas, 75904!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 3 years License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: Great communication and time management skills. Ability to read telemetry strips. Description: Transitioned to a virtual integrated care nursing model. Must work the schedule provided. Cannot offer block scheduling. Unit has 24 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 6:1. Common diagnoses include congestive heart failure, diabetes, pneumonia, and chronic kidney disease. Registered Nurses are required to have experience with various telemetry patients. Charge Nurses, House Supervisors, and Nurse Educators are available on the unit. Patient Care Technicians are present on the unit with a ratio of 12:1. Equipment includes CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapy. Shifts are managed by nursing leadership with weekend shifts required every other weekend. Holidays are required. Registered Nurses will float to all medical/surgical units as needed. Scrub color is navy blue. Department orientation is completed as part of onboarding. Cancellation policy applies for scheduled shifts.
