Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and complex clinical laboratory analyses-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure lab instruments are calibrated and maintained.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for various tests as necessary.
• Meticulously document all lab procedures, assist in training new personnel or students, and contribute to maintaining high quality standards in the lab.
• Promote a clean and safe working environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree accompanied by ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Continuous maintenance of current certification throughout your tenure.
