- Perform the work required to form metal for product build.
- Set-up, repair, operate, and maintain testing and related equipment.
- Load and unload machines.
- Change dies, fixtures, and gauges as required.
- Ensure the correct computer program is utilized for the product being run and make adjustments as required by the print.
- Maintain quality standards. Inspect initial product and adjust as necessary to produce the product per specifications identified on order documents and print drawings.
- Check product visually with fixed gauges and prints, including first piece inspections.
- Determine the cause of operating difficulties and take corrective action.
- Print work orders.
- Familiarity with bending machines (e.g., Press Break Operator) configuration and adjustments is beneficial.
- Solid technical skills in mechanical operations and drawing interpretations.
- Move materials within the work area.
- Place work order and print with finished parts.
- Complete flow work order using SAP when programs are complete.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures to produce a quality product/service.
- Report unusual conditions or questionable items to supervisor.
- Obey all safety rules and regulations.
- Keep work area clean and orderly.
- Maintain records as required
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
- Minimum of 1-year relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated mechanical ability.
- Able to read blueprints and interpret measurements.
- Able to accurately use caliper and tape measure to 1/32".
- Able to work overtime hours (more than 40 hours per week and Saturdays) as required
