Overview Construction Inspector — Greater Chicago Area (Based in Lisle, IL) $85,000–$100,000 + Annual Bonus + Company Vehicle + 100% Employer-Paid Medical Please Note: This position is open to candidates who are authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship What You'll Do Inspect roadway, bridge, drainage, utility, and transportation construction projects. Verify work is being completed according to plans, specifications, and IDOT standards. Coordinate with contractors, Resident Engineers, project managers, and agency representatives. Document daily construction activities and maintain accurate project records. Measure completed quantities for contractor payment. Observe material testing and verify quality control documentation. Identify field issues and help resolve construction challenges as they arise. Spend the majority of your time in the field with limited office documentation.
