Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) travel assignment in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Start date: 08/03/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $3,778–$3,846 per week. Guaranteed hours: 48 per week. Shift: 2x4 Nights (four 12-hour night shifts, typically 7:00 pm–7:30 am). Setting: hospital environment in a travel temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for laboring and postpartum patients, including monitoring maternal and fetal status
- Perform ongoing fetal heart rate monitoring, maternal vital signs, and labor progression assessments
- Administer medications and procedures as ordered (analgesia, antibiotics, tocolytics, etc.) and prepare for delivery as needed
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean delivery support, and postpartum care for mother and newborn
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record and communicate with the obstetric care team
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and patient education throughout the intrapartum and immediate postpartum periods

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
- ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Ability to work night shifts (7:00 pm–7:30 am) in a hospital setting
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program and eligibility to practice in MA
