Pay: $10.00 – $20.00 per hour (Base Pay + Tip Share)

Job Type: Full-Time & Part-Time shifts available

About Us

Welcome to Cantina Taco Grill , a brand-new, family-owned restaurant opening soon in Naperville! While this location is fresh, our family brings over 25 years of restaurant industry passion, tradition, and hospitality to the table.

Position Overview

As a Busser / Dining Room Assistant , you are the key to keeping our dining room running efficiently and cleanly. You will support our servers, cashiers, and host team by rapidly clearing and resetting tables, maintaining a spotless dining area, supporting guest requests, and ensuring the service flow remains smooth during busy peak hours.

Key Responsibilities

Table Maintenance: Clear dirty dishes, glassware, utensils, and trash from tables as guests finish their meals.
Table Turnover: Clean, sanitize, and reset tables, chairs, and booths promptly to prepare for incoming guests.
Dining Room Upkeep: Keep floors, walkways, condimental stations, and beverage areas clean, dry, and free of debris throughout the shift.
Server & Host Support: Assist servers with pre-bussing tables, running chips, salsas, and non-alcoholic drinks to tables during rush periods.
Dish Area Transport: Safely carry bus tubs filled with dirty dishes to the dishwashing station and restock clean glassware, plates, and silver in the dining room.
Restroom Maintenance: Periodically check and restock restrooms with paper products and soap to ensure cleanliness standards.
Opening/Closing Tasks: Assist with daily setup and teardown of the dining room, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and emptying trash cans.

Qualifications

No previous experience required—we are happy to train candidates with a great attitude and strong work ethic!
Must be energetic, hard-working, and able to move at a fast pace during busy meal rushes.
Friendly, polite, and customer-focused demeanor when interacting with guests.
Strong team player with a willingness to jump in and help wherever needed.
Physical requirement: Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and carry bus tubs or trays weighing up to 30 lbs.
Must have reliable transportation to Naperville, IL.
Flexible availability (evenings, weekends, and holidays preferred).
