Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LCSW)

Columbia Mental Health is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LCSW) to join our Healthcare & Medical Services department in Washington, DC. In this role, you will provide compassionate, evidence-based outpatient psychotherapy to a diverse adult population experiencing a range of mental health conditions, including mood, anxiety, trauma‑related, and adjustment disorders. You will conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, develop and regularly update individualized treatment plans, and deliver individual and, when appropriate, family or couples therapy using advanced therapeutic approaches aligned with best clinical practices. Working closely with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and other behavioral health professionals, you will collaborate on integrated care plans that address each patient’s unique needs. You will maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in our electronic health record, monitor progress toward treatment goals, and adjust interventions based on clinical outcomes and patient feedback. You will provide crisis assessment and intervention, safety planning, and appropriate referrals when patients require higher levels of care or additional community resources.
