Registered Nurse - LTC - Rehab - Nights

Join the dedicated team at Levindale Hospital‘s Hall 1 Rehab/Subacute Care unit, where compassionate caregivers help patients recover, regain independence, and transition successfully through their rehabilitation journey. Hall 1 is a fast-paced subacute rehab environment caring for patients with a variety of medical conditions including post-surgical recovery, orthopedic rehabilitation, cardiac conditions, wound care, IV therapy, and other skilled nursing needs.

Hall 1 promotes a collaborative, patient-centered environment focused on safety, dignity, comfort, and high-quality care. Team members must be compassionate, motivated, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional support to patients and families.

Summary:

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a critical role in coordinating care, supporting patients and families, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to help patients regain independence and improve quality of life.

What You‘ll Do

• Provide safe, age-appropriate nursing care in a rehab and subacute setting
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring patient responses
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, recovery goals, and discharge planning
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing assistants, and interdisciplinary teams
• Accurately document patient care and outcomes within the electronic medical record
• Serve as a clinical resource and advocate for patients and families
• Support a positive team culture focused on compassion, safety, and excellence

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) License
• American Heart Association CPR Certification
• Associate degree in Nursing required
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records
• Less than one year of RN experience welcome to apply

Pay Range: $34.33 to $53.21 Based On Experience
