Vascular Surgery Opportunity

Vascular and Vein Center is expanding and seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Vascular Surgeon to join a well-established practice. This practice has a patient base of almost 300,000, spanning 14 counties and beyond. The practice is located in a newly renovated floor of a medical office building adjacent to the hospital. The hospital facility is only ten years old and has a dedicated vascular suite in the operating room. The practice includes two advanced practice providers that work in the clinic as well as inpatient setting. Competitive base with quarterly bonus after start-up period, 5 weeks PTO, paid malpractice, retirement plan with employer match, recruitment incentives available, including loan repayment and signing bonus.

Provides services to a nine-county area with a population of approximately 200,000. Recreational and cultural opportunities include a well-developed park system, private and public golf courses, a performing arts endowment fund, and a myriad of historical sites. Median age of WV state wide population is 39.5 and increasing as we have the highest population age density in the US now; older than Florida based on population. Restaurants, college sports (WVU 35 miles away-Big East) WV theatre, WVU creative arts complex; Pittsburgh is closest true cultural center with symphony, ballet, opera, etc and is 125 miles by interstate and does a great job of marketing to the Saturday/weekend crowd; many of us do that a lot.
