Job Title: Construction Laborer

Job Description

As a Construction Laborer, you will be involved in a mix of labor tasks including rebar installation, wall forming, and flatwork. You will work on various projects in Beloit, Janesville, and throughout the Rock County/Southern Wisconsin area. This role requires you to work outdoors all day using hand and power tools, and to be capable of lifting 75 lbs regularly in all types of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

• 1-2+ years of concrete experience.
• Knowledge of concrete, rebar, and flatwork.
• Proficiency in wall forming and general labor tasks.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Reliable transportation within a 1-hour radius of Clinton, WI.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs regularly.
• Experience in commercial, industrial, and municipal projects.

Work Environment

Work outdoors in all weather conditions on commercial ground-up projects. The average project size ranges from 3-5 million dollars. With a team of 20 workers in the field, the company self-performs carpentry and concrete tasks. The standard work hours are from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the dress code includes work boots and pants. Personal protective equipment such as hard hats, safety glasses, high visibility shirts, work gloves, and hearing protection are provided. Preferred tools include tape measures, framing hammers, speed squares, utility knives, chalk lines, torpedo levels, pencils/markers, nail pullers, and battery impact drills.

This is a Permanent position based out of Janesville, WI.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Janesville,WI.
