Position Emergency Veterinarian – Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital, WA. Swing and Overnight Shifts available. About the Hospital At Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital, we offer primary care and 24/7 emergency services for dogs and cats. Our integrative medicine department provides rehabilitation services, as well as acupuncture and chiropractic for small animals. We are proud to be AAHA certified. Founded in 1963, Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital has served Snohomish and the Puget Sound region with 24‑hour emergency and critical care for small animals. While small animal specialists are not located on site, we partner closely with our sister hospital, VSCS, to provide seamless access to specialty expertise and foster a highly collaborative approach to patient care. Location Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital is located 30 miles north of Seattle in picturesque Snohomish, Washington, a blend of small‑town charm and natural beauty. Experience & Skills Requirements Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required. State Veterinary Board license: active and in good standing for the state of intended employment, obtained prior to start date. Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligibility. Experience in emergency medicine, including work experience, small animal rotation, or emergency internships, is strongly recommended. Compensation Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience, with an annual PROSAL model. Full‑time range starts at $180,000–$250,000 per year, with a sign‑on bonus up to $50,000 and up to $20,000 relocation allowance if applicable.
