We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manufacturing Quality Inspector to join our team and help maintain our reputation for excellence.Job OverviewAs a Manufacturing Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with relevant regulations. You will be responsible for inspecting materials, components, and finished products throughout the manufacturing process, identifying defects, and implementing quality control measures.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirementsUtilize precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges, to perform accurate measurements and dimensional checksVerify product conformance to ISO 13485 and FDA regulationsDocument inspection results, maintain detailed records, and prepare quality reportsIdentify and report quality issues, non-conformances, and deviations from established proceduresCollaborate with production teams to implement corrective and preventive actionsParticipate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiativesAssist in the development and revision of quality control procedures and work instructionsCalibrate and maintain quality inspection equipmentPerform audits of manufacturing processes and quality systemsTrain and mentor junior quality inspectors and production personnel on quality standards and inspection techniquesStay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in quality controlQualifications and RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the medical device industryProficient knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA regulations for medical devicesExpert-level skills in using precision measuring instruments, especially calipersFamiliarity with statistical process control (SPC) and quality management systemsStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressureExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsEffective communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and proceduresProficiency in Microsoft Office suite and quality management softwareCertification in quality assurance or inspection (e.g., ASQ) is a plus
