As a Security Officer Lobby Reception in Albany, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a commercial real estate location, you will welcome tenants and visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping to deter incidents through a visible, approachable presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and staff at a commercial real estate location while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Serve as a professional front desk presence by greeting visitors, verifying access authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor records.
• Monitor building access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems; report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and access-control issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Receive and route calls, deliveries, and inquiries; communicate clearly with property management, tenants, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
