This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients undergoing open heart surgical procedures. The role requires a highly skilled professional capable of assisting physicians with complex cardiac operations and specialized tasks within the cardiovascular operating room environment. Job Details Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse license in the state of practice or compact licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, at least one year of registered nurse experience in an acute care or operating room setting, including experience in cardiovascular or vascular surgery preferred Additional Information: Responsibilities include patient assessment across physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and educational domains; formulation and implementation of individualized care plans; supervision and delegation within the healthcare team; documentation of patient care; participation in clinical research and quality improvement activities; and active involvement in professional development and community activities. The position may require travel between facilities and flexible scheduling to meet patient needs.
