Position Summary The Senior IT Project Manager supports the Hill CEDC IT Operations & Maintenance contract at Hill AFB by leading the HPE GreenLake modernization project. This role manages project scope, schedules, resources, and deliverables while directing the project team. The Senior IT Project Manager oversees planning, coordination, and execution activities supporting the integration and sustainment of the HPE GreenLake environment across 2,000+ servers, 250+ applications, and multiple enclaves, ensuring alignment with mission needs, security requirements, and operational readiness. Responsibilities Develop project scope, cost estimates, staffing requirements, schedules, communication plans, and work assignments to meet project objectives. Lead all phases of the HPE GreenLake project, including planning, design, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment. Direct and coordinate the work of project team. Establish project goals, define milestones, and ensure timely completion of tasks and deliverables. Use project management tools to track progress, schedule adherence, risks, and dependencies. Facilitate project meetings and working sessions to review status, resolve issues, and maintain alignment across technical teams. Provide regular status updates, milestone reporting, and resource utilization summaries to Program Management and stakeholders. Ensure project documentation—including requirements, design artifacts, test results, and implementation records—is accurate, complete, and audit‑ready. Coordinate with cybersecurity personnel to ensure RMF, C2C, and security compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Oversee hardware lifecycle activities supporting GreenLake integration, including installation, configuration, and acceptance. Engage with HPE and third‑party vendors for technical support, integration activities, and issue resolution. Clearly and effectively communicate with SMEs, teams, functional leads, and Government stakeholders. Ensure all project activities meet accuracy, completeness, and auditability standards. Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. 5+ years of experience in IT project management or technical project coordination. Experience leading IT infrastructure, modernization, or data center projects. Understanding of Agile project management methodologies. Advanced computer skills and understanding of operating systems, network administration, and service desk operations. Ability to interpret technical instructions and documentation related to IT systems and infrastructure. Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills. Active Secret clearance. U.S. citizenship required. Required Certifications (only one required) Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Scrum Alliance Professional Scrum Master (PSM) Scrum.org Preferred Qualifications Experience with HPE GreenLake or similar hybrid cloud infrastructure platforms. Experience managing cross‑functional technical teams in enterprise IT environments. ITIL Foundation or ITIL Managing Professional certification. Experience supporting DoD data center operations or federal IT programs. Working Conditions / Environment / Physical Demands Position is performed on site at Hill AFB, Utah, in a secure professional environment. Standard MondayFriday schedule with occasional evening or weekend work to meet project deadlines. Core duty hours: MondayFriday, 06001800 MST. Work involves extensive computer and secure network use, including prolonged periods of sitting and screen time. Requires independent work with minimal supervision, as well as collaboration with cross‑functional teams, subcontractors, and Government stakeholders. Occasional travel may be required for customer meetings, training, or program reviews.
