RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Cath Lab Registered Nurse

Location: West Virginia

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, days from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, on-call required.

Job Description: The Cath Lab Registered Nurse will provide expert nursing care in the cardiac catheterization lab. This role involves working collaboratively within a team to deliver safe, efficient care to patients undergoing both diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient assessments and preparation for procedures.
• Administer moderate sedation and medications as required.
• Circulate in the lab and provide support for both diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Manage preoperative and postoperative care while ensuring patient safety.
• Participate in on-call rotations as assigned.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with 1 year in a Cath Lab setting preferred.
• Current West Virginia RN license required; pending license may be accepted for submission.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and any additional certifications required for the unit.
