About the Position

Job Title: RN Charge Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Inpatient Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Required minimum experience in an inpatient setting, with prior charge RN experience preferred. License: RN - Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT (Multi-state Compact) Certifications: BLS - Basic Life Support, ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Must-Have: OR charge RN experience, availability for weekend night shifts (Friday to Sunday, 7 PM - 7 AM). Scrubs will be provided. Description: The RN Charge Nurse is responsible for overseeing nursing staff and patient care during assigned shifts. Core responsibilities include performing other duties as assigned and ensuring compliance with all policies and standards of conduct. All required certifications must be obtained upon hire unless otherwise stated. Candidates must possess a nursing degree (Associate's, Diploma, or Bachelor's preferred). Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required. The RN Charge Nurse will work closely with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for this position. The role requires a commitment to patient safety and quality improvement initiatives. A collaborative approach to problem-solving and decision-making is expected. Candidates should have the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
