Exciting opportunity for a dedicated School Psychologist to support students at the junior high level during a maternity leave coverage! This full-time, onsite contract role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a supportive school environment near Lancaster, OH. You’ll collaborate closely with educational professionals to foster student growth and well-being throughout the assignment, from ASAP until November 1, 2026. If you have a strong commitment to educational psychology and experience working with adolescents, we want to hear from you!
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Ohio School Psychologist licensure (required)
- Previous experience as a School Psychologist within a school setting
- Familiarity with the needs and challenges of junior high/middle school students
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with school teams, parents, and students
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to junior high students
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Develop and implement effective intervention and support plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary team discussions
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to promote positive student outcomes
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with school policies and state regulations
