Starbucks Barista Job Description We are looking for friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Starbucks Baristas to join our team. Baristas are responsible for creating a welcoming environment, preparing high-quality beverages and food items, maintaining store cleanliness, and delivering excellent customer service with every interaction. Responsibilities Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner. Prepare and serve handcrafted Starbucks beverages and food items according to recipe and quality standards. Take customer orders accurately using the POS/register system. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department standards. Restock supplies, ingredients, and merchandise as needed. Support daily store operations, including brewing coffee, cleaning equipment, washing dishes, and maintaining the café area. Work as part of a team to keep service running smoothly during busy periods. Follow all company policies, dress code standards, and customer service expectations. Communicate respectfully and professionally with customers, coworkers, and supervisors. Qualifications Previous barista, food service, or customer service experience is helpful but not required. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work scheduled shifts. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying calm and focused. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to stand for long periods of time and perform tasks such as bending, reaching, lifting, and cleaning. Must be willing to learn Starbucks beverage standards, recipes, and procedures. Must maintain a professional appearance and follow dress code expectations.
