Experience 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. 6 months of Emergency Department experience is required with some in the last 24 months. Requirements Candidates must have a South Dakota license or compact license (required for submission). This role may require floating to additional units and locations Local & travel allowed. Candidates living Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Additional Details ER/Med Surg Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Shift: Day/Night Rotate Every other weekend and holiday. Will be required to work 1 call shift every contract. Will float between ER and Med Surg Ratio: For Med/Surg - typically 3 to 4 to one - depending on census and acuity Required skills and minimum years of experience: Able to function independently in the ER and function in MS unit with up to 5 patients. 6 months MS exp in the past year; 6 months ER exp in the past year. NRP - Would be great to have on hand, can be done onsite with approval. MUST note in submission if clinician has ever worked for Sanford Health.
