Maintenance Trades Helper- Machine Operator Trainee

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), located in Pawcatuck, CT has been supporting the US Navy Submarine and Surface Ships for over 30 years. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Applies knowledge of machining, shop mathematics, and machine procedures.

Verifies dimensions with measuring instruments.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Education and Experience:

0-2 years of related experience

Requires a high school diploma or GED

Skills and Abilities:

Basic blueprint reading.

Use of measuring tools.

Will be trained on a CNC milling machine.

Willing to invest and shows initiative and quality craftsmanship.
